Anonymous asked: What do you look for in a friend?

Hmmm :) I like this question. In a friend, I don’t look for people who I have stuff in common with, I look for a new perspective. I also look for people who enhance my life’s happiness. Those are the best of friends <3

Apollo’s Angels

Sometimes there are those days when the sky feels grey when it’s sunny sunny sunny out. Those are THE WORST days. It’s when every little thing (and big thing) goes terribly wrong, and the world is against you. If feels like everyone is under Darth Vader’s control on the Dark Side. Today started out as one of those days.

When I thought everything was going wrong, things just started to go right. I have the best mom in the world, baby ducks brighten your day, teachers can be your saving grace, studying for tests helps (a lot), and even when I feel so alone, I’m not.

Some things in life  don’t work for the Dark Side, in fact they work for the Brightest Side. These things in life are out there to do good in my life. They seep into the cracks of sadness, and plant flowers. When my days are covered by grey skies, they sweep out the clouds and reveal the sun.

In English now, we are studying Greek gods, and Apollo is the god of the sun. He was said to be the most handsome of the gods, bringing light and glory to everything he shined upon.

I think it is more than appropriate to call these little things in life Apollo’s Angels, working to share the brightness to the people who need it most. Let the force of Apollo be with you.
